| The play | On your turn do any 1 of 3 moves: And end your turn. |
You can't do more than 1 move on a turn. But the choice is yours. |
1. Sell matching 3-card sets to the game. |
Take your choice, but just do one thing. No more. |
| Sell | 1. Gather 3-card matching sets you intend to sell. |
To sell, you must select what you are going to sell- And Sell it to the game |
•Sets matching 1 symbol gets the totals on the backs of the cards. •Sets matching both symbols get an automatic 500 chips. |
Any number of 3-card sets matching 1 symbol or both symbols. |
| Trade | 1. Look around on the table for cards to take. |
You're looking for cards that match the cards you have in your spread. |
You can take any unprotected card from anyone. |
A card is unprotected if it has the only suit or the only shape in its spread. |
| Draw | 1. Draw 3 cards- 1 at a time. |
All drawn cards are immediately put up for bid. These cards are opportunities coming into the game. Bidding goes round and round. |
1. If you don't need the cards, you can pass. 2. If you need them, start bidding at a number you are willing to pay. |
Drawn cards don't belong to any player until they buy all 3 of them as a set. |
| After bid | 1, If you drew and win the bid, take all 3 cards and pay the bank. |
1. Who else would you pay? 2. You get paid for bringing the opportunity to the game. |
none | The turn is over once the bid is resolved and paid. |
| Game goes on and on | Players keep playing in turn until a BUX 1-2-3 card is drawn. | BUX 1-2-3 cards are timing cards. 1. The first, nothing. 2. The second, game pays double. 3. Pause the game. |
When a BUX card is drawn, tuck it under the game tray and draw another card in its place.
| Third BUX card | 1. PAUSE the game. |
The first deck has just been played. The game pauses. The deck is reshuffled to become the next draw deck. | Players can take a brief break. | The game just pauses after the 3rd BUX card is drawn in any of the '3 deck' played. The game resumes after all unowned cards have been reshuffled. |
| Continue the game | 1. Play the next deck until the third BUX card appears. 2. PAUSE the game again. 3. Reshuffle again just like before. 4. Play the third and final deck. |
This is the second draw deck being used. | Be sure to separate the 3 BUX cards before shuffling.
| End of game | 1. Continue playing the third deck until the third BUX card is draw. |
This is the third draw deck. | Depending on how the game goes, this deck could be very small. PAY ATTENTION. |
|
| The winner | The winner is the player with the most chips. All cards are now worthless. |
When it's over, it's over. | You were warned with the second BUX card. |
