Whatever we call it, we're all using our knowledge and skills to handle our money, resources, and time- trying to get what we need. We're using our best economic thinking to put resources together, against challenges, to build value and make money. That's our personal economics game in action. And we're playing this game for a better life.

If you waste time and money, have few skills or ideas, and don't know how to use resources, it is unlikely that you will win this game often. Putting resources together, making smart choices, using your experience and skills, looking for opportunities, taking risks, and overcoming challenges to achieve your objectives is what we call "playing your personal economics game," or "your money game" for short. But I bet you knew that.

If your starting game isn't too hot, don't worry. The more you play, the better you'll get.
